Buttermilk Syrup

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
- In a a large sauce pan combine the sugar, buttermilk, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil and continue boiling for about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl mix the baking soda and vanilla together and pour in into the buttermilk mixture. Be careful, whereas, the mixture will foam up.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir until the syrup is fully combined.
- Serve and Enjoy!
